Services for solar and storage
We offer EPC services in Illinois and surrounding states as well as design and development services nationwide.
EPC
services
We build solar and storage for developers, IPPs, and commercial & industrial owners.

One EPC contract. One accountable team.
We hold the EPC contract and run design coordination, procurement, project management, site supervision, safety and QA/QC.
Learn
We start with your goals, site needs, schedule, and incentive opportunities.
- Develop early budget pricing to support project planning
- QA/QC: Establish a quality management plan tailored to your project
Evaluate
We assess project feasibility and define the requirements for delivery.
- Model energy production and project economics
- Review constructability and establish a baseline schedule
- QA/QC: Identify applicable codes, standards, utility requirements, and local authority requirements early
Design, procure, and build
We keep design, equipment deliveries, and construction aligned.
- Review designs at 30%, 60%, 90%, and issue for construction
- Order long-lead equipment, including transformers and switchgear, once specifications are confirmed, and track it through delivery
- Manage site work, equipment installation, and electrical interconnection
- QA/QC: Apply Level 1–3 hold points for pre-construction, receiving inspections, and first-article inspections
Commission and energize
We test the system, coordinate utility approvals, and verify performance before handover.
- Complete electrical testing and commissioning checks
- Coordinate utility witness testing, permission to operate, and energization
- Verify system operation and performance
- QA/QC: Apply the Level 4 hold point to verify protective settings and readiness for energization
Hand over and support
We complete project handover and provide a clear point of contact for warranty support.
- Deliver as-built drawings, test reports, and operations and maintenance manuals
- Coordinate warranty support through a single project manager
- QA/QC: Confirm Level 5 readiness for commercial operation, with punch-list closeout and required quality records and documentation completed for final acceptance
How we keep your project on track
- Establish a baseline schedule with clear project milestones
- Coordinate design, procurement, and construction through one accountable project manager
- Use early pricing to guide scope and design decisions
- Evaluate equipment and subcontractor choices against your budget
- Order long-lead equipment as soon as specifications are confirmed
- Track orders and delivery dates against the construction schedule
- Select crews with the experience, capacity, and local presence your project needs
- Coordinate crew availability and work sequencing to keep construction moving
- Keep you informed of progress, upcoming work, and decisions that need attention
- Document construction progress with aerial updates and closeout records
- Plan for site risks before mobilization and reinforce expectations through daily briefings
- Inspect work at defined hold points and track corrective actions through closeout
Get a budget and a constructability read before design is final
We can join at any stage. The earlier we see the drawings, the more we resolve on paper instead of in the field.
Send us a site plan and single-line diagram
We typically return:
- Budget price
- Constructability notes
- Long-lead equipment list
- Baseline schedule
We can turn it around in as little as one week. We confirm the timeline once we've reviewed your project information.

Site planning & permitting
We develop site layouts that help limit earthwork and support zoning and special use permit applications.
Interconnection support
We support interconnection applications and coordinate with ComEd and Ameren. Engineering deliverables are prepared and sealed by licensed Professional Engineers.
Program & incentive guidance
We help your team navigate Illinois Shines and Illinois Solar for All, along with applicable Equity Eligible Contractor requirements, to support your project planning.
Preconstruction planning
We coordinate equipment, tracker, and racking selections around constructability and lead times. We also work with your team to address domestic content and safe harbor requirements in procurement planning.
Engineering with construction in mind.
Bring us your design, or have us develop it as part of your EPC project. We review site conditions, equipment specifications, and installation requirements to identify issues before construction.
Our co-founder, a Professional Engineer licensed in 25 states, works with our in-house technical team on every project. Designs we deliver are prepared and sealed by licensed Professional Engineers.
Rooftop solar, Chicago
- Early equipment procurement: We ordered the transformer, switchgear, and other long-lead electrical equipment based on the 30% drawings. Equipment lead times of up to 32 weeks ran alongside design development.
- Site coordination: We identified site obstacles missing from the drawings and led the engineering updates to reflect actual site conditions before they became problems in the field.
Ground-mounted solar, central Illinois
- Drawing coordination: Before drawings were issued for construction, we identified an electrical layout that did not match the latest tracker drawings.
- Equipment availability: We identified equipment that couldn’t be supplied as specified and sourced an available alternative.
