Frequently asked questions

Our answers on when to bring us in, budget pricing, scope, bonding, prevailing wage records, who is on site, progress reporting and how we respond to bid packages.

Getting started

When should we bring InWave in?

We can join at any stage. Bringing us in before design is final allows us to review costs, resolve constructability issues, and plan equipment purchases before construction begins.

What do you need to prepare a budget?

A site plan and single-line diagram are enough to start. We typically provide budget pricing, constructability notes, a long-lead equipment list, and an initial schedule.

For a full proposal, share available bid documents, the submission deadline, utility and interconnection information, site reports, target construction and completion dates, and any prevailing wage requirements.

How do we submit a bid package?

Email your documents to contact@inwavere.com. We’ll review the scope and drawings, clarify any questions, and confirm the proposal requirements and submission timeline.

Services and coverage

Can you handle individual scopes as well as full EPC?

Yes. We provide full engineering, procurement, and construction services or individual scopes, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and foundation work. We define our responsibilities at the start and manage the contracted scope through completion.

Where do you work?

Illinois is our primary market, with construction services across the Midwest. We also provide design and development support nationwide. Construction projects outside the region are considered individually.

Your project team

Who will manage our project?

A dedicated project manager serves as your main point of contact. A site superintendent coordinates field work and subcontractors, with support from our engineering team. Safety and quality responsibilities are assigned as part of the project team.

How will you keep us informed?

Your project manager provides regular updates against the baseline schedule, covering completed work, upcoming activities, equipment deliveries, and decisions that need your attention. Progress photos support those updates.

Bonding and compliance

Can you provide performance and payment bonds?

Yes, subject to surety approval. A surety letter is available on request.

How do you document prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements?

For applicable projects, we track certified payroll, labor hours, and apprenticeship participation in your compliance platform or ours. We keep these records organized for program, lender, and tax credit reviews.
